Skin overview

★ Bayonet | Doppler (Phase 1) is a Covert knife with a candy-coated finish over dark marbling, where deep blue, violet and pink pass into one another along the blade. Phase 1 is the darker variant of Doppler, with black swirls showing through the colour. In Factory New the coating reads as a continuous glossy layer, so the marbling stays sharp and the gradient has no breaks from tip to guard.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The blade carries the whole Doppler effect: dark navy and black marbling under a translucent layer that runs from cold blue toward the tip to violet and pink closer to the guard. The fuller and the slot near the tip pick up lighter blue highlights, while darker swirls spread across the flat of the blade. The crossguard is plain grey metal, and the ridged grip is pale olive with its own faint marbled texture, which keeps the colour on the blade. On worn copies the coating goes first at the tip and along the cutting edge, then on the spine and the raised edges of the fuller.

A Factory New copy shows the candy coat intact over the whole blade, with no scratches at the tip or along the edge. The marbling keeps crisp outlines, and the blue and pink areas hold their full saturation. In first person and in inspect the knife looks like the reference image, with a clean gloss on every surface. The guard and grip also stay clean.
