Skin overview
★ Bayonet | Doppler (Phase 4) is a long military knife with a blade painted in deep blue tones and dark marbled swirls under a glossy candy coat. In Factory New the blue reads as one even, saturated layer from the guard to the tip, with no breaks in the gloss. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the finish exactly as intended.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The paint covers only the blade: deep navy and royal blue with a violet cast, broken up by dark, smoky marble swirls that run along its whole length. Along the fuller and the cutting edge the blue turns lighter and more glossy, which gives the blade a layered, almost liquid look. The crossguard stays plain silver metal, and the ribbed grip and pommel keep their stock khaki colour. On worn copies the coat first gives way at the tip, on the spine and along the edge, where the metal shows through as fine silver scratches.
In Factory New the blade carries an unbroken coat of blue and marbling from the guard to the tip. The gloss along the fuller and the edge stays clean, without silver specks. At normal distance in game the knife shows a solid, deep blue with clear marble contrast. The guard and grip are unpainted, so they look the same in every grade.

What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the grade, since a lower value keeps the tip and spine cleaner.
- Inspect the tip and the spine in close-up, because that is where the coat breaks first.
- Look at how much violet tint and dark marbling sits on the blade, as the pattern changes the balance between them from copy to copy.
- See whether the knife has a name tag and whether you want to keep it.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Collectors who want the blue coat without any visible marks.
- Players who inspect their knife often and notice details on the tip.
- Buyers looking for a copy that keeps its look when they decide to trade it on.
- Conclusion: the grade for those who want the finish in full.
