Skin overview

★ Bayonet | Doppler (Sapphire) is a Bayonet whose blade is coated in a deep, saturated blue with darker marbled swirls under a glossy candy layer. In Factory New the coating is unbroken from the tip to the guard, so the blue keeps its full depth and the metallic shine moves evenly across the blade when you inspect it.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

Appearance in Factory New

The whole blade, including the fuller groove and the area around the hole near the tip, is covered in a rich sapphire blue with darker marbled patches spread along its length. The finish is a candy-coated anodized layer, so the blue has a metallic depth and lighter highlights appear where light hits the flat of the blade. The crossguard and pommel stay plain silver, while the segmented grip shows a pale khaki tone with its own faint marbled texture. The pattern decides where the darker swirls and lighter areas fall, so two copies can differ in how evenly the blue is spread. On worn copies the coating goes first at the tip and along the cutting edge, then along the spine.

In Factory New the blue coating is intact over the entire blade, including the tip and the edge. Copies near the top of the range may show a tiny mark at the tip only on close inspection. In game the blade reads as a solid, deep blue with clean reflections. The guard, grip and pommel look untouched.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The float of ★ Bayonet | Doppler Sapphire ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 88% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the float position within the range, since lower floats keep the tip cleaner.
  • Inspect the tip and cutting edge, where the coating wears first.
  • Compare the pattern, because it changes how evenly the dark swirls and lighter blue are spread.
  • Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag.

Who the Factory New quality suits

  • Collectors who want the sapphire blue with no marks at all.
  • Players who inspect their knife often and notice small details.
  • A choice for those who want the cleanest version of this phase.
