Skin overview

The Phase 3 Doppler on the Bayonet is defined by its cold blue blade, dark navy marbling and a light streak running along the fuller. At Minimal Wear the colour stays essentially the same, and only close inspection reveals fine marks near the tip and cutting edge. This grade keeps the recognisable blue look while costing the owner a little perfection in the details.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The finish covers only the blade: a deep blue base with darker navy and slightly violet marbled swirls spread unevenly across the steel. A lighter blue highlight runs along the fuller, and the tip area turns to a darker indigo.

Fine micro-scratches may appear at the very tip and along the cutting edge, with occasional light marks on the spine. The flat of the blade, the marbling and the fuller highlight remain clean. During normal play, including inspect animations, the difference from Factory New is hard to notice. The grip and crossguard show no meaningful change.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ Bayonet | Doppler Phase 3 is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low value in Minimal Wear can look almost identical to Factory New.
  • Compare the amount and placement of dark swirls versus bright blue on the blade, because the pattern varies from copy to copy.
  • Inspect the tip and cutting edge closely, as these are the first places where marks appear.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag you want to keep.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want the same blue look in game and accept fine marks visible only up close.
  • Buyers entering the Doppler Bayonet line who prefer to save on the grade rather than on the phase.
  • Conclusion: a practical option where the in-game look is almost unchanged.
