★ Bowie Knife | Safari Mesh (Factory New)

Skin overview

★ Bowie Knife | Safari Mesh is a large sawback knife covered in a muted olive and sand spray-paint with a hexagonal mesh stencil running across the blade. In Factory New the mesh lines are crisp, and the paint holds an even, matte tone from the tip to the pommel. It is a quiet finish that suits buyers who want the Bowie silhouette without a loud colour scheme.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Factory New

The whole knife is spray-painted in khaki and olive green with lighter sandy areas, and a hexagonal mesh stencil runs across the blade like chain-link fencing. The clip-point blade carries the clearest part of the mesh, while the serrated spine and the tip share the same muted tone. The crossguard and the handle are painted in the same scheme, with the mesh softer on the grip and the rivets left visible. On worn copies the paint first leaves the tip, the saw teeth on the spine, the cutting edge, the ends of the guard and the pommel, then spreads to the flat of the blade.

Factory New covers only a narrow band at the start of this skin's float range, so these copies are the least common. The mesh is sharp, the colour is even, and the edges, teeth and pommel keep their paint. At normal distance in game the knife reads as a clean matte olive blade with a fine pattern. Nothing on the blade, guard or handle shows metal.

Factory New wear: float 0.06–0.07

The float of ★ Bowie Knife | Safari Mesh ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Factory New quality covers 0.06–0.07 — 1% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at the float position within the wear grade, since a low float keeps the tip and spine teeth noticeably cleaner.
• Inspect the tip, the saw teeth and the ends of the guard, as these lose paint first.
• Check how much of the mesh remains on the flat of the blade on worn grades.
• Note whether the knife is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag, since both change what you are paying for.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the cleanest version of this finish.
• Players who like a calm, matte knife with an intact mesh.
• Conclusion: the grade for those who value condition over savings.
