Skin overview

The Phase 3 colouring of ★ Butterfly Knife | Gamma Doppler (Phase 3) is mostly green, with teal and blue drifting through darker cloudy marbling, set against black handles with green strips. In Minimal Wear any marks are faint and gather near the tip and edge, while the rest of the blade keeps its glossy candy coat. It offers the same look as the cleanest grade at a slightly more relaxed condition.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The blade is covered in a marbled anodized finish: deep green dominates, with teal and blue zones and darker smoky veins running through the pattern. The finish continues onto the tang and the latch area, which show the same green tones.

Small light scuffs may appear near the tip and along the cutting edge, where the coat thins first. They are usually visible only in inspect mode at close range. The main body of the blade, the colour zones and the handles stay clean. At normal distance in game the knife reads the same as a Factory New copy.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ Butterfly Knife | Gamma Doppler Phase 3 is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

  • Compare the balance of green, teal and blue on the blade, since each Phase 3 pattern distributes the colours differently.
  • Look at how much dark marbling covers the blade and whether it sits on the visible side in first-person view.
  • Check the float position within the wear range and inspect the tip and cutting edge for scuffs.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag you want to keep.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want the Phase 3 look in game without paying for the cleanest grade.
  • Buyers who prioritise a strong colour pattern over a perfect tip.
  • A sensible way to own this phase when in-game appearance comes first.
