Skin overview
★ Butterfly Knife | Slaughter is a balisong finished in a deep tomato red candy coat over a zebra-stripe pattern of aluminium and chrome paints. In Factory New the stripes read as sharp, layered shades of red with a clean metallic depth under the coat. Black handles with red inlays frame the blade, and in this condition every surface keeps its full gloss.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The blade carries the main artwork: angular zebra stripes in several shades of red, from bright tomato to a darker wine tone, all under a glossy candy coat that lets the metallic base shine through. A lighter silver strip runs along the edge and spine, separating the red field from the steel. The handles are black with cut-out holes and long red inlays that repeat the colour of the blade, and the pivot and latch are dark red. On worn copies the coat wears off first at the tip and along the cutting edge, then on the raised spine near the pivot, exposing bare metal while the flat middle of the blade holds its colour longest.
The candy coat is complete across the whole blade, and the stripes keep crisp borders between the red tones. The tip and edge show only the intended silver line, with no bare metal breaking into the red. Handles and inlays are fully glossy. In game the knife reads as a solid, saturated red with clear stripe contrast during inspects.

What to look at before you buy
- Look at where the stripes fall on the blade, because the pattern placement differs between copies and some layouts are valued more by collectors.
- Check the tip and the cutting edge first, as that is where bare metal appears on worn copies.
- Compare float within the wear range, since a low float in Field-Tested can look close to Minimal Wear.
- Decide whether you need StatTrak™, as the skin exists in that version too.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Collectors who want the cleanest red stripes with no metal showing at the tip.
- Players who inspect their knife often and notice small details.
- A clear choice when the full gloss of the candy coat matters most.
