Skin overview

The Fade on the Classic Knife reads as a warm-to-cool sweep of colour across a long, straight blade with a dark textured grip. At Minimal Wear the finish sits at the very top of its narrow float range, so the colours look practically the same as on cleaner copies at normal viewing distance. Here the buyer trades a little untouched paint at the tip for a lower entry into the skin.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The blade carries the whole gradient: blue and violet at the tip, a band of magenta and pink across the middle, and orange to yellow toward the base. Near the ricasso and the spine serrations the paint thins out and the chrome base shows through as a silvery sheen.

Light wear appears as faint scratches and small silver specks on the blue tip and along the cutting edge. The pink and amber middle of the blade, the spine and the grip remain clean. At normal distance in game these marks are hard to spot, and the gradient reads as fully intact. The difference from Factory New becomes visible mainly in close inspect views of the tip.
