Skin overview

★ Classic Knife | Forest DDPAT covers the long blade in a pixel camouflage of sand, light green, dark green and brown blocks, set off by a green textured handle. In Factory New the digital squares keep sharp edges and the bright cutting edge runs as a clean silver line from tip to guard. This is the tidiest way to own the pattern, and every block reads as intended.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Appearance in Factory New

The blade is covered in a hydrographic digital camouflage: a sandy beige base broken by light green, darker green, olive-brown and pale cream pixel blocks. A narrow polished strip runs along the cutting edge, and the spine near the guard carries a row of serrations under the same camo. The guard is a plain brown-bronze tone, and the handle is solid green with a diamond-textured grip, dark pins and a lanyard hole at the pommel. Placement of the pixel clusters shifts from copy to copy, but the overall colour mix stays the same. On worn copies the paint goes first at the tip, along the edge and on the spine, then spreads across the flat of the blade.

Factory New copies show the camo intact across the whole blade, with crisp pixel edges and no bare metal. The Factory New band for this skin is very narrow, so all copies look nearly identical. In game the greens and browns read evenly and the polished edge line is clearly visible. The guard and green grip look clean as well.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, since low and high copies of Field-Tested and Well-Worn look noticeably different at the tip and edge.
  • Inspect the tip and spine in the preview, as these are the first areas to lose paint on this finish.
  • Look at how the pixel clusters fall on the visible side of the blade, because placement varies between copies.
  • For StatTrak™ copies, confirm the counter and check for a name tag if you want a particular name.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the camo fully intact with sharp pixel edges.
  • Players who inspect their knife often and want no visible wear.
  • The choice for those who want this pattern in its cleanest form.
