Skin overview

The green argyle knit and brown suede palm make these gloves easy to recognise from the first-person view. Minimal Wear keeps the pattern almost untouched, with only faint dulling that is hard to spot during a round. It is the grade for a clean look at a lower entry point than Factory New.

Item type: gloves. Extraordinary is the gloves rarity: in cases they are the rare special item, above any weapon skin.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The back of the hand is a green knit with an argyle pattern of dark and light green diamonds, crossed by thin yellow diagonal lines. The fingers continue in plain dark green knit, while the cuff is trimmed with brown suede.

The knit is nearly identical to Factory New, perhaps slightly less vivid on close inspection. The suede may show a faint darkening at the fingertips. The argyle pattern and yellow lines remain fully crisp. At normal distance the difference from Factory New is hard to notice.

What to check before buying

  • Check the float within the wear range, since the condition of the suede palm changes the look most from copy to copy.
  • Inspect the palm and fingertips, as they darken and stain first.
  • Look at how bright the yellow lines on the argyle stay, because they fade before the green diamonds do.
  • Compare the copy in inspect mode with neighbouring wears, as Factory New and Minimal Wear can look very similar.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want an almost clean look without paying for the top grade.
  • Buyers who will rarely notice the faint wear during play.
  • Conclusion: a sensible choice for a clean look at a lower entry point.
