Skin overview

These Driver Gloves are built around a red-and-gold contrast: a lattice of gold strands over red leather, with darker grey on the palm side. Minimal Wear keeps that contrast almost intact, with only faint rubbing on the knuckles and cuff edge. In first-person view it reads close to the cleanest grade.

Item type: gloves. Extraordinary is the gloves rarity: in cases they are the rare special item, above any weapon skin.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The backs of both gloves are covered in deep red leather, with a panel of gold woven strands forming a diamond lattice across the back of the hand. The red fingers carry rows of small perforations, and a small yellow tag sits at the cuff.

Minimal Wear adds faint pale rubbing on the knuckles and along the cuff edge. The gold lattice stays sharp, and the red keeps nearly all of its depth. Fingertips on the palm side may show slight lightening. At normal viewing distance the difference from Factory New is hard to spot.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float keeps the red deeper and the gold lattice brighter.
  • Look at the knuckles and cuff edges first, as they are the first places to turn pale.
  • Compare the gold lattice on the back of the hand, because its clarity defines how the gloves read in game.
  • On Battle-Scarred copies, inspect several listings, as this grade covers a wide range of looks.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
  • Owners who view their gloves mostly in first-person, where small scuffs barely show.
  • A sensible balance between appearance and cost.
