Skin overview

This Gamma Doppler flip knife pairs an olive textured handle with a marbled blade that moves from emerald green to blue and violet toward the point. At Minimal Wear the colours and marbling look essentially the same as on a fresh copy, and any marks are small and kept to the edge and tip.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The whole blade carries the Gamma Doppler finish: black and silver metallic paint marbled together under a candy coat, giving a deep anodized look. In this Phase 1 copy the base of the blade and the serrated section near the guard are saturated green, while the upper blade and the point shift to blue, violet and silvery tones crossed by dark veins.

Minimal Wear covers a narrow range for this skin, so the difference from Factory New stays small. Fine scuffs may appear at the tip and along the edge, sometimes on the serrations, while the marbling and colour fields remain intact. At normal viewing distance in game the knife looks practically clean. The flat of the blade and the handle stay unmarked.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ Flip Knife | Gamma Doppler Phase 1 is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Confirm the phase in the listing, since each Gamma Doppler phase has its own colour balance.
  • Inspect the individual pattern, as the share of green, blue and dark marbling varies between copies.
  • Look closely at the tip and serrations, where the coat wears first.
  • Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it has a name tag.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the same look in game without paying for a perfect float.
  • Buyers who accept faint marks on the tip as long as the colours stay intact.
  • A practical entry into this phase with almost no visual compromise.
