★ Gut Knife | Doppler (Black Pearl) is the dark phase of the Doppler finish on the Gut Knife: a deep black-blue blade with a marbled pattern and violet and silver highlights. In Factory New the candy coat looks continuous, so the marbling reads as depth under glass rather than a flat print. The orange wooden grip gives the dark blade a warm contrast.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Appearance in Factory New
The finish covers the blade, from the gut hook and serrated spine down to the tip, in a marbled mix of black and deep blue. Lighter violet and silver veins run through the darker areas, and the polished edge bevels catch the light as thin bright outlines. The bolster, guard and lanyard ring are black, while the grip is orange-brown wood with metal rivets that does not change with wear. On worn copies the first marks appear on the blade, mostly near the tip, along the cutting edge and around the gut hook, as fine scratches in the coating.
A Factory New copy shows the blade coating without visible scratches across its whole surface. The marbling, the violet veins and the bright edge outlines all read cleanly in the inspect view and at normal distance. The tip and the area around the gut hook look as polished as the rest of the blade. The wooden grip and black fittings look the same as on any other copy.

The whole float range of ★ Gut Knife | Doppler Black Pearl is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
