★ Gut Knife | Lore (Factory New)

Skin overview

★ Gut Knife | Lore is a gold-painted knife with Celtic knotwork along the blade and green grip scales set in a gold frame. In Factory New the gold is at its brightest and the fine knot lines stay crisp from the hook to the tip. This grade shows the artwork the way it was designed, with nothing lost to wear.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The blade is painted gold with a band of Celtic knotwork that follows the spine from the gut hook down to the tip and runs back along the cutting edge. Darker patina spots near the spine and hook give the gold an antique look even on a clean copy. The handle has dark green scales with a soft marbled texture, held in a gold frame with gold pins and a gold lanyard ring at the pommel. On worn copies the gold disappears first from the tip, the gut hook, the serrated spine and the cutting edge, then from the raised edges of the handle frame.

The gold covers the whole blade evenly and the knotwork lines are sharp. The tip, hook and edges show no visible loss of paint. In game the knife reads bright and clean in any lighting. The green scales and gold frame look untouched.

• Inspect the cutting edge and the gut hook in game, as these lose paint first.
• Look at whether the knotwork near the spine is still intact on worn copies.
• Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag you want to keep.
