Skin overview
★ Huntsman Knife | Fade is a tanto-point knife whose blade runs from deep red at the tip through orange and gold into bare chrome near the guard. In Factory New the airbrushed transition stays smooth and glossy along the whole blade, and the red tip and serrated spine keep their full saturation. This is the grade for buyers who want the gradient exactly as the finish was meant to look.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Airbrushed: a coloured coating with an airbrushed design on top; the coating holds while the design fades with wear.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The finish covers the blade: the tanto tip and the serrated teeth along the spine are a deep red-magenta, which fades through orange into a broad band of warm gold across the middle of the blade. Towards the ricasso and the hooked guard the colour thins out and the chrome base coat shows through as polished silver, with a thin red line following the fuller. The handle is dark with a textured black grip and contrasting red screws, which frames the bright blade. How much red reaches down the blade depends on the pattern, so copies differ in the balance of red, gold and chrome. On worn copies the paint goes first at the tip, the cutting edge and the raised spine teeth, where scratches expose the chrome underneath.
In Factory New the blade shows no visible scratches, and the airbrushed gradient stays continuous from the red tip down to the chrome near the guard. The spine teeth and the cutting edge keep their full colour, which is where wear would normally appear first. In game the blade reads as one clean, glossy sweep of red, gold and silver during inspect animations. The dark handle and red screws look the same as on the image.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The whole float range of ★ Huntsman Knife | Fade is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy
- Look at how far the red runs down the blade, since the pattern decides the balance of red, gold and chrome.
- Check the tip and the spine teeth on the inspect screenshots, as scratches show there first.
- Compare the float with its position inside the range, especially for Minimal Wear copies close to Factory New.
- Confirm whether the offer is a StatTrak™ copy and whether a name tag is applied.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the gradient completely untouched along the whole blade.
- Players who inspect their knife often and notice small marks on the red tip.
- Conclusion: the grade for those who value a clean finish above saving money.
