★ Huntsman Knife | Forest DDPAT (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

This Huntsman Knife wears a woodland digital pattern of muted greens, browns and sand tones over the blade, with a dark textured handle beneath it. At Minimal Wear the camouflage looks practically intact in game, and any light marks near the tip or teeth are hard to spot. It gives nearly the same look as the top grade at a lower entry point.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The hydrographic Forest DDPAT pattern covers the whole tanto blade, the sawback teeth on the spine and the metal guard, in small square pixels of beige, pale grey, olive green and dark brown. The pattern runs without a fixed layout, so the placement of green and brown clusters shifts from copy to copy.

Small specks of steel may appear at the very tip, on the saw teeth or along the edge, usually only on inspection. In game at normal distance the knife looks almost identical to Factory New. The flat of the blade and the guard keep the full pattern.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The float of ★ Huntsman Knife | Forest DDPAT ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

It is the rare special item of Huntsman Weapon Case (on sale since Jun 11, 2014) — knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.

What to check before buying

• Check the float within the grade, since lower values keep more paint on the edge and tip.
• Inspect the cutting edge, the tip and the saw teeth, as they lose paint first.
• Look at where the green and brown clusters land on the blade, because the pattern placement differs between copies.
• Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag you want to keep.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

• Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
• Buyers who rarely zoom in on the tip and teeth during inspect.
• Conclusion: a sensible balance between appearance and cost.
