Skin overview

Boreal Forest on the ★ Kukri Knife is a woodland camo whose earthy tones blend into worn metal more naturally than bright finishes do. In Battle-Scarred large areas of the blade show exposed steel and the camo survives mostly as scattered patches toward the guard. The untouched tan handle keeps the knife looking intact in the hand.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The whole blade, from the swept tip to the guard area with its spine jimping and round hole, is covered in a hydrographic forest camo of sandy tan, olive, dark brown, lime green and small teal-green spots. The blotches are irregular and overlap, so the layout shifts from copy to copy depending on how the pattern sits on the blade.

Large parts of the blade show bare metal, especially the forward half and the edges. The camo remains as scattered blotches, mostly near the guard and the jimping. Because the range on this skin stops short of the maximum, some camo always survives. The handle keeps its clean tan finish.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.8

The whole float range of ★ Kukri Knife | Boreal Forest is 0.06–0.8; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.8 segment (47% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

  • Check the float position within the wear range, since copies at the clean end of a grade show noticeably less metal at the tip.
  • Look at the inspect screenshot to see how the camo sits on the blade, as some copies show more of the bright green spots than others.
  • On worn grades, check the tip and the spine first, because that is where paint loss starts.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag, as both change how the knife is presented.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Players who want the kukri shape at the most accessible grade.
  • Those who like heavy wear and exposed steel on a camo blade.
  • A budget entry where the earthy palette hides wear better than bright finishes.
