β Kukri Knife | Scorched covers the curved Kukri blade with a smoky spray-paint pattern of black and dark grey blotches over pale steel. In Factory New the soot-like patches keep soft, even edges and the lighter areas between them stay crisp, so the camouflage reads as intended. The grip stays a uniform dark tone that frames the blade.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Appearance in Factory New
The broad curved blade is covered in irregular black and dark grey blotches with lighter silvery streaks, most visible near the cutting edge and the tip. The pattern looks hazy and smoky, as if the steel was darkened by soot rather than painted in solid shapes. The finger choil, jimping and grip are kept in a dark, almost uniform grey, with ribbed panels on the handle and a rounded pommel. On worn copies the paint first leaves the cutting edge, the tip and the spine, then the raised ribs and edges of the grip. Because the base metal is pale and the camo already has light streaks, early wear blends in more than on high-contrast finishes.
The smoky blotches and pale streaks are fully intact across the blade, and the grip shows no scuffs. The float range of this skin begins inside Factory New, so this grade covers only a narrow slice of values. In game the knife reads as a clean dark camo with soft transitions. Everything from tip to pommel looks fresh.

What to check before buying
- Look at the float position within the grade, since the paint loss on the edge and tip grows noticeably inside the worn grades.
- Check the cutting edge, tip and spine first, as these lose paint before the rest of the blade.
- Compare inspect screenshots of several copies, because the placement of dark blotches differs and some look darker overall.
- If you want the cleanest look at a lower cost, compare Minimal Wear with Factory New side by side, since the difference is small on this camo.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the smoky camo in its most complete form.
- Players who prefer a clean, dark knife that does not draw attention.
- The best choice if the intact pattern matters more than saving.
