Skin overview
This is the Ruby phase of the Doppler on the M9 Bayonet, so the blade, guard and pommel cap carry a single red tone with dark marbling. In Minimal Wear the finish keeps its full colour, and any marks stay small and sit near the tip or along the sawback. It shows the same red as cleaner copies at a lower grade, which matters most when the knife is seen in hand rather than inspected closely.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The whole blade is coated in deep red with darker, almost wine-coloured marbled veins running along its length. The sawteeth on the spine and the thin edge line read slightly darker against the glossy red flats.
Small scuffs may appear at the very tip and on the edges of the sawteeth, where the metal shows through in tiny spots. The flats of the blade keep their full red and marbling. In game at normal distance these marks are hard to notice, and the knife looks the same as a cleaner one. The guard and pommel cap usually stay clean or show only faint marks on the ring.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08
The whole float range of ★ M9 Bayonet | Doppler Ruby is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying
- Look at the float within the narrow range, since copies at the cleaner end show fewer marks at the tip.
- Inspect the tip, the sawteeth and the cutting edge, as these lose paint first.
- Compare the marbling and the depth of red between copies, because the dark veins sit differently on each blade.
- Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it has a name tag you want to keep.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want the full Ruby look in game and do not need a flawless tip.
- Buyers entering the Ruby phase at a lower grade without losing the colour.
- A sensible pick when the red matters more than tiny marks on the sawteeth.
