Skin overview

This wear keeps the same Phase 1 look: a dark, marbled blade washed with magenta and blue, set against a tan stone-patterned handle. In Minimal Wear the coating is still almost whole, and the small marks it can have sit mostly near the tip and edge. For most viewers in game it reads the same as a cleaner copy.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The blade carries an anodized candy finish where pink and magenta blend into violet and blue, with dark smoky veins running across the whole surface. The bolster and the area around the pivot screw pick up deeper purple and blue tones, giving the metal a polished, oily sheen.

In Minimal Wear small specks and light thinning may appear at the very tip of the blade and in places along the cutting edge. The main body of the blade, the bolster and the handle remain clean. At normal viewing distance in game these marks are hard to notice. Higher floats in this grade show slightly more of them near the tip.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ Navaja Knife | Doppler Phase 1 is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

It drops as a rare special item from:

StatTrak™ version

This skin has a the StatTrak™ version with a kill counter.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the range, since the tip and edge are the first places to show marks.
  • Look at the pattern on both sides of the blade, because the balance of pink, blue and dark marbling differs between copies.
  • Inspect the tip and spine closely in the inspect view rather than relying on the wear name alone.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it has a name tag.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the Phase 1 look in game and accept small marks near the tip.
  • Buyers looking for a more accessible entry to this finish than Factory New.
  • Conclusion: nearly the same look in play at a less demanding grade.
