Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is the roughest take on ★ Navaja Knife | Ultraviolet: much of the blade shows bare steel and the dark finish survives mostly in recesses and near the bolster. The purple handle is chipped at the edges and the butt, yet it remains the main colour accent of the knife. It suits buyers who like a heavily used look and want the Ultraviolet scheme at the entry grade.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The blade is coated in a dark, almost black paint with a slightly lighter bevel along the cutting edge. The bolster and pivot area are dark as well, accented by a purple pivot screw and a small purple pin.

Most of the blade is bare steel, with dark paint left mainly near the bolster and in recesses. The bolster shows heavy scuffing, and the purple handle has wide chips at the edges and the curved end. The central part of the grip and the purple pivot screw keep some colour. At normal distance in game the knife reads as worn steel with a purple handle.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8

The float of ★ Navaja Knife | Ultraviolet ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.8 — 47% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the wear grade, since solid paint shows every step of wear on the blade.
  • Look at the tip and the cutting edge first, as these are the first places where bare metal appears.
  • Inspect the curved end of the purple handle, which chips before the middle of the grip does.
  • Pattern does not matter for this skin, so focus on the condition and on a name tag if there is one.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget buyers looking for an entry into this knife.
  • Players who enjoy a heavily used, bare-steel blade with a purple accent.
  • The entry grade for those who accept strong wear.
