★ Nomad Knife | Boreal Forest (Factory New)

Skin overview

★ Nomad Knife | Boreal Forest is a Covert knife with a forest camouflage hydrographic in olive, khaki, pale yellow-green and mint over a light grey-beige base. In Factory New the blotches keep sharp borders and full colour across the broad blade. The float range does not start at zero, so even the cleanest copies sit slightly above a perfect finish.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Factory New

The broad blade is covered in irregular camouflage blotches of olive, dark khaki, pale yellow-green and mint green over a light grey-beige base, while the polished cutting edge shows bare steel. The handle frame and bolster are painted in the same light beige-grey, with a row of holes, a green pivot screw and small green accents. A green textured insert on the grip echoes the mint tone of the camo. On worn copies the paint goes first at the tip, along the spine and the cutting edge of the blade, and on the raised edges of the handle frame.

The camo blotches have crisp borders and even colour over the whole blade. The handle frame and green accents look clean. In game the knife reads as fresh and uniform at any distance. Close inspection rarely reveals anything beyond the slight offset of a float range that does not begin at zero.

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies at the low end of a grade look visibly cleaner than those near the upper limit.
• Inspect the tip, spine and cutting edge of the blade, as these lose paint first.
• Look at the raised edges of the handle frame and bolster for scuffs on worn copies.
• Decide whether you want a StatTrak™ version, as both variants exist for this knife.
