The handle keeps a polished silver bolster with a pivot screw and a row of holes, black textured composite inserts, and red accents along the frame edges. On worn copies the coat goes first at the tip, along the cutting edge and on the spine, then on the red edges of the handle frame.

The candy coat is intact across the whole blade, including the tip and edge. Stripe borders are crisp and the red keeps its full gloss. The silver bolster and black inserts look untouched. In game the blade reads as a clean, saturated red.
