Skin overview

Case Hardened on the Paracord Knife is a patina finish of gold and blue-purple spots on the blade, paired with a grey cord grip. In Well-Worn the pattern is broken up by noticeable grey steel scratches, and the colours look duller than on cleaner grades. The knife keeps its character mainly through the colour patches that survive in the middle of the blade.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The finish covers the metal of the knife: the blade, the spine with its long cut-out slot and the small guard area. The base of the blade is a pale gold with soft yellow and cream tones, while blue and purple patches gather towards the tip and along parts of the edge, with rusty orange spots near the spine and the base.

Scratches spread from the edge and the tip deeper into the blade, and the spine around the slot is worn down to steel in larger areas. The colour patches look faded and broken by grey lines. In game the knife reads as clearly used, with the pattern visible mostly in the centre of the blade. Only the middle section keeps a fairly even colour.
