Skin overview

This wear of ★ Paracord Knife | Stained keeps the marbled blue-grey patina almost entirely intact, with only faint marks that need a close look to find. The stained blade, slotted near the spine, still dominates the view model. It is a near-clean copy of a finish that already looks weathered by design.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The whole blade is covered with a mottled patina in pale blue, grey and white tones, crossed by thin darker blue veins that give it a marbled, stained look. The spine area, including the long slot and the notched section near the guard, has a darker grey steel tone.

Light marks may appear on the tip and along the cutting edge, usually only visible in inspect. The stains and veins on the flat of the blade remain intact. At normal distance in game it reads the same as Factory New. The paracord handle and pommel look clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of ★ Paracord Knife | Stained is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the float position within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep noticeably more patina on the edge and tip.
  • The arrangement of stains differs between copies, so check the inspect image to see how the pattern sits on the visible side of the blade.
  • On worn grades check the tip and spine, as these lose the patina first and set the overall impression.
  • Check whether the knife carries a name tag and whether it is the StatTrak™ version.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want a near-clean look and do not need a perfect inspect.
  • Buyers saving on the top grade with no visible difference in game.
  • A sensible balance between appearance and cost.
