Skin overview

This Paracord Knife carries a stencil-sprayed camo in whites and greys, made by painting through tangled masking tape. In Minimal Wear the pattern still reads as a full, even coat, and any small marks near the tip are hard to spot against such a light palette. It keeps almost the whole clean look while being a step down from the top grade.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The blade is sprayed in a pale camouflage of white and light grey with soft, blurred grey patches, the result of painting through tangled masking tape. The long slot cut near the spine and the notched section by the guard sit inside the same light coat, so the whole blade reads as one muted surface.

Tiny scuffs may appear at the very tip and along the cutting edge. The flat of the blade, the slot area and the patches remain intact. The cord may look very slightly greyer. At normal viewing distance it is hard to tell apart from Factory New.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of ★ Paracord Knife | Urban Masked is 0.06–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

  • The float range starts near the upper end of Factory New, so check where a copy sits within its grade rather than relying on the wear name alone.
  • Look at the cutting edge, tip and spine first, as these lose paint before the rest of the blade.
  • Compare the placement of the grey patches between copies, since the stencil layout varies.
  • Check whether the knife has StatTrak™ or a name tag if either matters to you.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want a near-clean knife without paying for the top grade.
  • Buyers who will not notice tiny marks on such a light finish.
  • Conclusion: almost the same look for a smaller outlay.
