How the skin looks in Factory New
The grips with their finger openings and the central spine of each blade are painted in a flat pale cyan with a slight metallic sheen, and the small tower emblem sits at the base of each grip. The bevelled sides of both blades carry the Emerald colour: bright translucent green with darker green and almost black marbled swirls, as if ink were spreading through glass. A thin light edge separates the green bevel from the blue spine and runs along the cutting edge. On worn copies the coating first thins at the blade tips, along the cutting edges and on the outer rims of the grip openings, where the silver base metal can show through.
Both the blue frame and the green bevels look untouched, with no visible breaks in the candy coat. The tips and the edges of the grip openings keep their full colour. In game the green reads bright and even at any distance, and the marbling stays sharp in the inspect view. Lower floats within this grade only make the finish look even more pristine on close inspection.
