Show allAllSkin overview
The Ruby phase on the Skeleton Knife is a single-colour Doppler: a red blade with darker marbling, a red finger ring and black tape on the handle. At Minimal Wear the finish still reads as solid red, with only faint marks near the tip that are hard to spot in hand. This grade keeps the look of the phase while sitting just above Factory New on the float scale.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The whole blade is coated in deep red with darker, almost wine-coloured marbling that flows from the spine towards the edge, while lighter pinkish tones catch the light near the fuller. A thin dark bevel runs along the cutting edge and outlines the blade shape.
At Minimal Wear the wear is limited to faint scratches near the tip and, on some copies, a slightly lighter spot along the edge. The finger ring, the holes and the marbled middle of the blade still look clean. In normal play the difference from Factory New is practically invisible, especially in the inspect animation at default distance. Only zoomed-in screenshots reveal the marks on the point.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08
The whole float range of ★ Skeleton Knife | Doppler Ruby is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
It drops from Fever Case as a rare special item.
StatTrak™ version

What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the grade, since the cleanest Factory New and borderline Minimal Wear copies are valued differently.
- Look at the tip and the cutting edge in the inspect view, as these are the first places where the red thins out.
- Compare how dark the marbling is on the blade, because the balance of bright and deep red varies between copies.
- Decide whether you need the StatTrak™ version and check if a name tag has been applied.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want the Ruby look in game and accept marks visible only up close.
- Buyers looking for a more accessible entry into this phase than Factory New.
- Conclusion: nearly the same red knife in play, with a small concession on the tip.
