Skin overview
★ Bayonet | Doppler (Ruby) is the Bayonet with a blade covered entirely in deep red, broken up by darker marbled swirls under a glossy candy coat. In Factory New the red stays saturated from tip to guard, and the marbling looks sharp and wet. This is the grade for buyers who want the phase exactly as it was meant to look.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.
Appearance in Factory New
The whole blade, from the tip with its lanyard hole to the fuller groove and the ricasso, is coated in a rich ruby red with darker crimson and near-black marbled clouds. The candy coat gives the red a glossy, slightly translucent depth, and the marbling shifts in placement from copy to copy while the overall colour stays red.
The red coating is intact over the entire blade, including the tip and the edge. The marbling keeps its full contrast and the gloss looks even. In game the blade reads as a solid, bright red from any angle of the inspect animation. The grip, guard and pommel look clean as well.
Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07
The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Bayonet | Doppler Ruby is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
It drops as a rare special item from:
- Chroma Case (on sale since Jan 8, 2015)
- Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015)
- Chroma 3 Case
StatTrak™ version
This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.
What to check before buying
- Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the Factory New border look cleaner on the tip.
- Inspect the tip and cutting edge closely, as these are the first places where the red coating thins.
- Compare how the dark marbling is distributed, because some buyers prefer a blade with more even, brighter red.
- Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag you are happy to keep.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Collectors who want the Ruby phase in its cleanest possible form.
- Players who inspect their knife often and want the red to stay flawless up close.
- The choice for anyone who wants this knife without compromises.
