Skin overview

The Phase 4 Doppler on the Bayonet is recognised by its cold blue blade with a violet tint and black marble veins, set against a plain silver guard and a ribbed khaki grip. In Minimal Wear the coat is still nearly intact, and any marks sit in small spots near the tip or along the spine. In the hand view the colour looks practically the same as on a cleaner copy.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The paint covers only the blade: deep navy and royal blue with a violet cast, broken up by dark, smoky marble swirls that run along its whole length. Along the fuller and the cutting edge the blue turns lighter and more glossy, which gives the blade a layered, almost liquid look.

In Minimal Wear the first tiny scratches may appear at the very tip and on the spine of the blade. The marks are small and pale, and the main surface along the fuller still keeps its full colour and gloss. In normal play they are hard to spot, and the blade reads as clean deep blue. Guard and grip look exactly as on a Factory New copy.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Bayonet | Doppler Phase 4 ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.08 — 12% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, since a lower value keeps the tip and spine cleaner.
  • Inspect the tip and the spine in close-up, because that is where the coat breaks first.
  • Look at how much violet tint and dark marbling sits on the blade, as the pattern changes the balance between them from copy to copy.
  • See whether the knife has a name tag and whether you want to keep it.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the Phase 4 look in game and accept tiny marks near the tip.
  • Buyers who prefer to pay less than for Factory New for almost the same view.
  • Those who mostly see the knife in the hand view rather than in close inspection.
  • Conclusion: a practical way to get the same blue blade.
