Skin overview

This wear of ★ Bayonet | Doppler (Sapphire) keeps the same single-colour sapphire blade with marbled dark blue clouds and a pale ridged grip. Any marks at Minimal Wear sit at the very tip and are hard to spot, so in hand the knife reads almost the same as a Factory New copy while costing the buyer less of a premium for perfection.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The whole blade, including the fuller groove and the area around the hole near the tip, is covered in a rich sapphire blue with darker marbled patches spread along its length. The finish is a candy-coated anodized layer, so the blue has a metallic depth and lighter highlights appear where light hits the flat of the blade.

At Minimal Wear the first light scratches appear at the tip and sometimes a little along the cutting edge. They are small and lighter than the surrounding blue, so they are visible mostly in inspect mode. At normal distance in game the blade still looks fully blue and glossy. The flat of the blade, the fuller and the grip stay clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Bayonet | Doppler Sapphire is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the float position within the range, since lower floats keep the tip cleaner.
  • Inspect the tip and cutting edge, where the coating wears first.
  • Compare the pattern, because it changes how evenly the dark swirls and lighter blue are spread.
  • Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the sapphire look in game without paying for a flawless tip.
  • Buyers who accept small marks visible only in inspect mode.
  • A practical way to own this phase with almost the same look.
