Skin overview

★ Bowie Knife | Doppler (Phase 3) is a large sawback knife whose blade is covered in a marbled candy-coat finish in deep blue and violet. Dark navy veins run through the colour, and lighter blue highlights gather near the tip and cutting edge. In Factory New the coating is unbroken from spine to edge, so the marbling stays sharp and saturated across the whole blade.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The finish covers only the blade: a marbled candy coat in deep blue and violet with darker navy clouds spread unevenly over the flat. Toward the tip and along the cutting edge the colour brightens into pale blue with a metallic sheen.

The coat is intact on the whole blade, including the tip and the spine teeth. The gloss and the contrast between blue, violet and navy are at their strongest. In game and on inspect, nothing distracts from the marbling. Copies near the top of this grade may show faint marks at the point only under close inspection.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Bowie Knife | Doppler Phase 3 ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 88% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the range, since lower values keep the tip cleaner.
  • Look at the pattern on the blade flat, because the balance of bright blue, violet and dark navy differs between copies.
  • Inspect the tip and the spine teeth in close-up, as that is where wear shows first.
  • Check for a name tag and the StatTrak™ counter if those matter to you.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the blue and violet marbling without any marks.
  • Players who inspect their knife often and want the full gloss.
  • The choice for those who want this phase in its cleanest form.
