Show allAllSkin overview
★ Classic Knife | Fade is a chrome-based blade airbrushed in transparent paints that blend from blue and violet at the tip through pink to amber near the guard. In Factory New the gradient is unbroken from tip to heel, and the chrome under the paint keeps the colours bright and glossy. This grade suits a buyer who wants the finish exactly as it was designed.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Airbrushed: a coloured coating with an airbrushed design on top; the coating holds while the design fades with wear.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The blade carries the whole gradient: blue and violet at the tip, a band of magenta and pink across the middle, and orange to yellow toward the base. Near the ricasso and the spine serrations the paint thins out and the chrome base shows through as a silvery sheen.
The paint is intact across the whole blade, including the tip and the edge. The gradient transitions are smooth, and the chrome gives the colours an even shine. In game the knife shows a clean, saturated sweep of colour from every angle of the inspect animation. Copies near the top of the grade may carry barely noticeable marks on the tip only under close inspection.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The float of ★ StatTrak™ Classic Knife | Fade ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 88% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
It is the rare special item of CS20 Case — knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.
Price by quality
Among 11 skins of the Classic Knife in the Covert grade and this quality, this skin ranks 8th by price, counting from the dearest.
StatTrak™ version
This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrak™ version is 13% dearer than the regular one.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at the pattern, since the share of blue, pink and amber on the blade changes from copy to copy.
- Check the float position within the grade, as lower values keep the tip cleaner.
- Inspect the tip and the cutting edge for silver specks where paint has worn through.
- Note whether the copy has a name tag or a StatTrak™ counter, since both versions exist.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Collectors who want the gradient with no marks on the tip.
- Players who inspect their knife often and want the cleanest look in close views.
- Factory New is the grade for those who value an untouched finish above everything else.
