Skin overview

★ Classic Knife | Urban Masked is a Covert knife finished in pale white and soft grey spray paint, with a wavy beige band running along the blade. In Factory New the light layers stay even and the contrast between the cool tones and the warm band is at its cleanest. The float range starts just inside this grade, so clean copies come from a narrow slice of it.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Factory New

The blade is covered in soft white and light blue-grey spray paint with blurred transitions, as if applied through masking tape. A wavy beige band follows the spine and runs down towards the edge near the tip, giving the finish its recognisable tape-stencil outline.

The paint covers the blade, guard and handle evenly, with no visible scratches. The beige band along the spine keeps a crisp wavy outline. In game the knife reads as a clean pale object with a warm accent near the spine. Since the range starts high within this grade, check the float to confirm the copy is truly clean.

Factory New wear: float 0.06–0.07

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Classic Knife | Urban Masked is 0.06–0.8; Factory New takes the 0.06–0.07 segment (1% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

It is the rare special item of CS20 Case — knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the wear, because the tip and edge lose paint first and lower floats keep them cleaner.
  • Look at the beige band along the spine on the inspect screen to see how much of the stencil outline survives.
  • Inspect the handle checkering and guard edges, which show rubbing on worn copies.
  • Decide whether you want the StatTrak™ version and check if a name tag is applied.

Who the Factory New quality suits

  • Collectors who want the cleanest possible copy of this light finish.
  • Players who like a pale, even knife that stands out softly in the hand.
  • The pick when a clean blade and crisp stencil outline matter most.
