Overview

★ Falchion Knife in its vanilla form is the knife with no applied finish, only the factory steel and dark grip. The curved clip point blade, a modern take on the falchion sword, carries the whole look, with bare polished metal against a black textured handle. A vanilla knife has no wear grades, so every copy shows the same clean steel and the choice comes down to the knife itself and the StatTrak™ option.

This is the vanilla Falchion Knife: the unpainted look of the item in CS2. Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

The same quality also exists as the regular version.

How the skin looks

The blade is plain polished steel with soft grey reflections and a lighter strip along the curved cutting edge, rising into a pronounced clip point. A steel bolster sits at the base of the blade, held by visible screws.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

It is the rare special item of Falchion Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015) — knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.

What to check before buying

  • Decide whether you want the StatTrak™ version, since it adds a kill counter and is listed separately from the plain one.
  • On StatTrak™ copies, check the current counter value if a fresh or a high count matters to you.
  • Look for a name tag, as a custom name stays with the knife and changes how it reads in the inspect view.
  • A vanilla knife has no float or pattern, so there is no point paying extra for a supposedly cleaner copy.

Who it suits

  • Players who want the Falchion animations and silhouette in hand without a coloured finish distracting from them.
  • Collectors who keep a set of knives in their original factory look.
  • Buyers who prefer neutral steel and black that match any weapon skins in the inventory.
  • Conclusion: a plain, consistent pick for anyone who values the knife shape itself over the artwork.
