Skin overview

The second phase of the Doppler on the ★ Falchion Knife is recognised by its pink-dominated marble with purple patches and black veining over a glossy candy coat. In Minimal Wear the finish still reads as glossy and saturated, and any marks are small and stay near the edges of the blade. It is a way to get the same colours at a slightly more forgiving grade.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The blade carries a marbled pattern of pink, magenta and pale lavender, broken up by dark smoky veins and cloud-like patches. A grey metal bolster with visible screws sits between blade and handle and stays uncoloured.

Small scuffs may appear at the very tip and along the edge or spine of the blade, sometimes showing a hint of bare steel. The handle and the main blade surface stay clean and saturated. At normal viewing distance the difference from Factory New is hard to spot, and it shows mostly on close inspect. Copies near the upper part of the range carry more of these tip marks.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Falchion Knife | Doppler Phase 2 is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

It drops as a rare special item from:

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to look at before you buy

  • Inspect the pattern, since the share of pink, purple and dark veins on the blade differs between copies.
  • Check the blade tip and spine closely, as they are the first places where the coating thins.
  • Look at the float position within the wear range rather than the wear name alone.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it has a name tag.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want Phase 2 colours and accept minor marks at the tip.
  • Buyers looking for a more accessible entry into this knife and phase.
  • Conclusion: nearly the same look in game at a softer grade.
