Overview
★ Flip Knife in its original form: a Persian-style back-swept blade with an acute point and plain factory steel. There is no applied finish, so the look depends entirely on the knife's shape: the long curve of the blade, the serrated section near the base and the textured olive handle. Vanilla knives have no wear grades, so every copy looks the same.
This is the vanilla Flip Knife: the unpainted look of the item in CS2. Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
The same quality also exists as the regular version.
Appearance
The blade is bare polished steel with a light mirror sheen and a strong back-swept curve towards the point. Near the base the cutting edge has a serrated section, and the dark area above it carries the round thumb opening and pivot.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
It drops as a rare special item from:
- CS:GO Weapon Case (on sale since Sep 20, 2013)
- CS:GO Weapon Case 2 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013)
- CS:GO Weapon Case 3 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013)

And 5 more — souvenir packages and other sources.
What to look at before you buy
- Check whether the offer is the regular or the StatTrak™ version, since both exist and are listed separately.
- Look for a name tag in the item details if you want a clean copy without a custom name.
- Remember that vanilla knives have no float or pattern, so there is no reason to pay extra for a specific copy.
- Inspect the knife in game to make sure the plain steel and olive handle suit your inventory.
Who it suits
- Players who want the Flip Knife's shape and animations without paying for a finish.
- Collectors who prefer the original factory look of the knife.
- Buyers who want a neutral knife that goes with any set of weapon skins.
- In short, a plain and honest way to own a ★ Flip Knife.
