★ Flip Knife | Doppler (Sapphire) pairs a back-swept blade in deep sapphire blue with an olive textured handle. The blade carries a dark marbled pattern under a glossy candy coat, and blue accents repeat on the pivot screw and thumb stud. In Factory New the colour stays even from spine to edge, and the tip keeps its full saturation.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The whole blade is coated in a deep sapphire blue with darker navy and violet marbling spread unevenly from the tip to the guard. The serrated section near the base of the spine takes the same blue, while the cutting edge shows a thin lighter line of exposed metal.
The blade shows no visible marks, and the blue keeps the same depth from spine to tip. The candy coat looks uniform, so the marbling stays crisp across the whole surface. In game the knife reads as a solid saturated blue at any distance. The handle and blue hardware look untouched.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Flip Knife | Doppler Sapphire is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
It drops as a rare special item from:
- Chroma Case (on sale since Jan 8, 2015)
- Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015)
- Chroma 3 Case
StatTrak™ version
This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.
What to check before buying
- Inspect the tip in close view, since that is where the coating shows marks first.
- Look at the float position within the range, as the lowest and highest copies differ mostly in tip condition.
- Check the serration teeth near the spine for small scuffs on Minimal Wear copies.
- Confirm whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag you want to keep.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Collectors who want the Sapphire phase with an untouched blade and tip.
- Players who inspect their knife often and want even colour in close view.
- Conclusion: the choice for buyers who want a clean blade with no compromise.
