Skin overview

★ Gut Knife | Doppler (Phase 2) pairs the hooked gut knife blade with a candy-coated marble finish in pink and magenta, broken by dark purple clouds toward the spine. In Factory New the coating is unbroken, so the colour stays deep and glossy from the tip to the guard. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the finish exactly as intended, with nothing to explain away on inspect.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The blade is coated in a marbled anodized finish: vivid pink and magenta dominate the lower half and the cutting edge, while dark purple and near-black clouds gather along the spine and around the serrated section. The gut hook at the top of the spine shares the same pink tone with a dark outline.

The candy coat is intact across the whole blade, including the tip and the gut hook. The pink keeps its full saturation and the dark marbling stays crisp at the edges of each cloud. In first-person view and on inspect the knife looks flawless. The wooden handle is clean as well.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Gut Knife | Doppler Phase 2 is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to look at before you buy

  • Compare how much bright pink versus dark marbling the copy shows, since the pattern changes the overall look noticeably.
  • Check the float position within the wear range, as a low float keeps the tip and hook cleaner.
  • Inspect the blade tip and the gut hook closely, because these spots show wear first.
  • Note whether the knife is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag, and decide if that matters to you.

Who the Factory New quality suits

  • Collectors who want the coating untouched on every part of the blade.
  • Players who spend a lot of time inspecting the knife and notice small details.
  • A good choice when a perfect finish matters more than the extra cost.
