★ StatTrak™ Huntsman Knife | Black Laminate (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

This is a restrained knife: a matte, stone-textured blade with a sawback spine and a laminated grip whose dark and pale layers form flowing loops. In Minimal Wear the overall look stays practically the same as a fresh copy. Any marks are small and sit on the handle edges, so at normal viewing distance the knife reads as clean.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The blade is dark grey with a mottled stonewashed texture, a tanto point, a long fuller groove and a row of saw teeth along the spine. The guard and pommel are dark metal with small black bolts.

Light marks may appear on the outer edges of the grip and on the pommel. The blade looks unchanged because its texture hides fine scratches. At normal distance in game it is hard to tell apart from Factory New. The laminate pattern and finger grooves remain clean.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the full range is available and copies within one grade can differ.
• Look at the handle edges and the ridges between the finger grooves, as they show wear before the blade does.
• Inspect the spine teeth and the tanto tip on more worn copies.
• Check whether the knife is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

• Buyers who want a near-new look without paying for the top grade.
• Players who will not notice small marks on the grip edges in game.
• A sensible balance between appearance and cost.
