Skin overview

★ Karambit | Doppler (Phase 2) is a curved knife whose blade and finger ring carry a candy-coated marble finish in deep pink and magenta with lighter silver-white streaks. In Factory New the coating is intact, so the pink stays saturated and the marbling looks glossy from the tip to the ring. This is the grade for buyers who want the colour exactly as the finish was designed.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The finish covers the curved blade and the finger ring, while the handle stays a plain dark grey with a fine texture, deep finger grooves and ridges along the back. Phase 2 is dominated by bright pink and magenta, broken up by cloudy silver-white marbling that runs across the flat of the blade.

The candy coat is complete across the blade, so the pink and the silver marbling keep full depth and gloss. The tip, the cutting edge and the ring rim show no fading in normal inspection. In game the blade reads as a solid bright pink with lighter swirls, both in the hand and on inspect. The grey handle has no paint, so it looks the same in every grade.

What to check before buying

  • Make sure the listing is Phase 2, since Doppler phases differ in colour and the phase is part of the item name.
  • Inspect the tip and the cutting edge, where the candy coat fades first.
  • Compare how much bright pink against silver-white marbling the blade shows, because the pattern varies between copies.
  • Check whether a name tag has been applied and whether it suits you.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the Phase 2 colours with no fading at all.
  • Players who inspect their knife often and notice small details on the tip and edge.
  • The choice for the cleanest possible look of this phase.
