Skin overview

This is the Sapphire phase of the Doppler Karambit: a dark grey textured grip paired with a blade and ring in rich blue with a marble-like flow of lighter tones. Minimal Wear keeps that blue almost intact, with only faint marks near the tip and edge visible on close inspection. For many buyers it is the practical way to own the same colour at a lower grade.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The blade carries the full Sapphire colouring: deep royal blue along the spine and edge with violet undertones, and pale white-blue marbled patches in the middle of the curve. The finger ring repeats the same blue finish, so the colour shows at both ends of the knife.

In Minimal Wear the first light marks can appear at the tip of the blade and along the edge. The outer rim of the ring may show a faint scuff, while the flat of the blade stays fully coloured. At normal viewing distance in game these marks are hard to notice, and the knife reads almost the same as a Factory New copy. Inspect mode with close zoom is where the difference shows.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Karambit | Doppler Sapphire ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.08 — 12% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the range, since lower values keep the tip and edge cleaner.
  • Look at the pattern: the amount and placement of pale marbled patches on the blade change how deep the blue appears.
  • Inspect the tip, the edge and the outer rim of the ring, as these spots lose coating first.
  • Confirm whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag, if either matters to you.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the same blue in game and do not mind faint marks seen only up close.
  • Buyers looking for a more accessible entry into this phase.
  • Conclusion: nearly the same look with a sensible compromise on condition.
