Skin overview

Night Stripe is a quiet, dark finish, and in Field-Tested that quietness works in its favour: light scuffs on a slate blue blade look like normal use rather than damage. The diagonal stripes remain readable across the blade, while bare steel starts to show along the edge and spine. The handle keeps its dark rubber look and frames the worn blade.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The broad curved blade is sprayed in a slate blue and dark grey night ops scheme, with thin lighter diagonal lines left where tape masked the paint. The sharpened bevel along the cutting edge stays bright steel and outlines the blade, while the spine carries jimping and a small hole near the guard.

Scuffs become visible at the tip, along the cutting edge, on the spine and around the jimping. The stripes in the middle of the blade are still clearly readable, with some light scratches on the paint. The raised ribs of the handle may start to lighten slightly. During inspect animations the wear is noticeable, but the overall dark look holds.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Kukri Knife | Night Stripe ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 31% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at where the float sits within the wear grade, since paint loss on this finish grows steadily from the tip and edges inward.
  • Inspect the tip, cutting edge and spine on screenshots, as these areas show steel first.
  • Check how the tape stripes fall across the blade on the specific copy, because their placement can differ between copies.
  • Note whether the knife carries a name tag or StatTrak™ counter and whether that matters to you.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who want a Kukri with a dark finish and accept visible scuffs at the edges.
  • Those who like a used tool look that suits the knife's character.
  • A practical middle grade for everyday play.
