Skin overview

Urban Masked on the Kukri Knife is a light, low-contrast finish that relies on the shape of the knife rather than on colour. At Field-Tested the pale paint starts to break on the blade edge and the tip, and bare metal shows through in thin streaks. Because the base colour is close to steel, the wear blends in more softly than on darker finishes.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The whole knife is covered in pale grey and off-white spray paint, from the curved blade to the guard and the handle. The blade carries the pattern: thin dark lines from a tangled masking-tape stencil cross it diagonally, with small dark scuffs scattered between them.

The paint thins along the cutting edge and at the tip, showing streaks of bare metal. The spine teeth start to lose paint at their points. The handle is mostly clean, with light rubbing possible on the grip ridges. In game the knife still reads as light grey with a visible stencil pattern.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Kukri Knife | Urban Masked is 0.06–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies at the clean end of a grade look noticeably fresher.
  • Look at the tip and cutting edge in the inspect view, as they lose paint first.
  • Compare the blade layout between copies, because the stencil lines fall differently on each pattern.
  • Confirm whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players looking for a balance between appearance and cost.
  • Those who do not mind light edge wear, which blends with the pale paint.
  • Conclusion: a practical everyday knife with the pattern still readable.
