Skin overview

A Well-Worn Crimson Web on the Navaja shows red and steel in roughly visible competition on the blade, with the web broken up where the paint has thinned. The section around the pivot keeps more colour than the blade, so the knife still reads red at a glance. It suits those who like a weathered, scuffed look on a knife.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The blade is painted deep red with a thin dark spider-web pattern laid over it by hydrographic print, and the same finish continues onto the front of the handle around the pivot and the small thumb lug. A dark pivot screw and a small pin sit in the red section, while the curved rear grip is a separate plain grey slab with a single screw near its end.

Large areas of steel cover the tip, the edge and the spine, and the paint on the flat of the blade becomes patchy, breaking up the web. The raised edges of the red handle section are scuffed through in places. In game the blade looks mottled red and silver while the area near the pivot stays mostly red. The web is readable only in the better-preserved parts.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

What to look at before you buy

  • The Factory New range for this skin is very narrow, so check the exact float to see where the copy sits.
  • Look at how the web lines fall on the blade, since their placement differs between copies and some layouts look cleaner.
  • On worn copies inspect the tip and cutting edge first, as that is where steel shows through earliest.
  • Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it has a name tag.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Players who like a weathered red and silver blade.
  • Buyers who want the knife at a lower entry point than mid grades.
  • A choice for those who prefer character over cleanliness.
