Skin overview

This is the Navaja Knife in a night ops spray finish, with stripes in shades of slate grey and dull blue. A Well-Worn copy reads as a used field knife: the paint has thinned along the blade and edges, and steel takes up a noticeable part of the surface. The colour remains recognisable on the curved handle, which keeps the stripe idea visible.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The blade is painted dark grey-blue with broad, softly blurred diagonal stripes of lighter grey running across its flat. The bolster with its pivot screw and the long curved handle carry the same slate tone, with the stripes continuing at an angle along the scales toward the rounded end.

Large areas of steel show across the blade, and the stripes there are broken into patches. The bolster and pivot area are noticeably rubbed, and the rounded end of the handle starts to lose paint. The middle of the handle still holds most of its slate colour. In game the blade reads as mostly metal, with colour concentrated on the grip.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Navaja Knife | Night Stripe is 0.06–0.8; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (9% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, because spray paint loses coverage on the blade quickly as the value rises.
  • Look at the cutting edge and tip in the inspect view, since that is where steel shows first.
  • Compare how the diagonal stripes fall on the blade and handle, as their placement shifts slightly between copies.
  • Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag, and choose according to your preference.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Budget buyers who want this finish with the colour still visible on the handle.
  • Players who prefer a knife that looks like a field tool.
  • Conclusion: a reasonable saving if a mostly metal blade does not bother you.
