Skin overview

This is the same blue-and-violet Sapphire blade on the Nomad Knife, offered in Minimal Wear. The anodized coat holds up well, so at a glance it is hard to tell apart from a Factory New copy; any marks are small and sit near the tip or along the edge. It suits a buyer who wants the Sapphire look and accepts minor flaws visible only on close inspection.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The blade carries the Sapphire colours: deep blue that shifts into violet, with lighter cyan near the tip and along the edge. Darker smoky swirls run through the colour in a marbled pattern, and their placement differs from copy to copy.

Minimal Wear covers a very narrow slice of float, so the difference from Factory New is small. Tiny scratches or pale specks can appear at the tip and along the cutting edge, where the blade wears first. In game at normal distance the blade still reads as uniform blue and violet, and the marbling is unaffected. The bolster, liners and handle stay clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Nomad Knife | Doppler Sapphire ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.08 — 12% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

It drops from Fever Case as a rare special item.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the cleanest copies differ mainly at the tip.
  • Look at the blade tip and cutting edge in inspect for specks or scratches.
  • Compare the marbling and the balance of blue and violet, because the pattern placement varies between copies.
  • Check for a name tag and whether the copy is StatTrak™, as both versions exist.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the Sapphire colour in hand and do not study the blade up close.
  • Buyers looking for a more accessible entry into this phase than Factory New.
  • A practical option: the look in game is almost the same as the cleaner grade.
