Skin overview

★ Paracord Knife | Scorched is a survival knife with a tanto blade covered in smoky grey and black spray paint with pale speckles. In Factory New the gradient from dark spine to lighter edge is intact, and the mottled paracord handle keeps its even grey-black tone. This skin's float range starts right at the edge of this grade, so Factory New copies sit in a very narrow band.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The blade is sprayed in a smoky gradient: near-black along the spine and tip, fading to lighter grey with white speckles towards the cutting edge. The long slot and the cut-outs near the guard sit in the darker zone and frame the pattern.

The spray paint covers the whole blade with no visible scratches, and the dark-to-light gradient is uninterrupted. The tip and the slot edges keep full colour. The paracord wrap shows its even mottled tone. In game the knife reads as a clean, matte smoky blade.

Factory New wear: float 0.06–0.07

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Paracord Knife | Scorched ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Factory New quality covers 0.06–0.07 — 1% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the cleaner end of a grade keep more paint on the tip and edge.
  • Inspect the tip and the cutting edge first, as these lose paint before the rest of the blade.
  • Look at the area around the long slot and the cut-outs, where scuffs show early.
  • Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag, if that matters to you.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the smoky gradient fully intact.
  • Players who prefer a clean, matte dark knife.
  • Conclusion: the pick for maximum condition in a narrow grade.
