Skin overview

Autotronic is a simple two-tone finish, and in Well-Worn that simplicity shows the age of the knife openly. Bare metal appears along the handle rims, guard points and the edges of the blade inlay, giving the red a used, workshop look. The silhouette and colour scheme remain obvious at a glance.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The handles of both daggers are anodized in a bright red with open cutouts and pointed wings, carrying a small dark emblem near the base. Each blade has a dark grey, slightly textured bevel running along both edges and the tip, with a red inlay on the flat that continues the colour of the handle.

Bare metal runs along the handle rims and wing tips, and the guard points are noticeably stripped. The red inlay on the blades is chipped along its border and shows patches in the middle. The grey bevels carry more scratches but hide them well due to their dark tone. In game the red looks broken and uneven, though the colour scheme is still obvious.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Shadow Daggers | Autotronic is 0–0.85; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (8% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the red shows wear quickly and a low float looks noticeably cleaner.
  • Inspect the rims of the handle cutouts and the wing tips, as these are the first places the red wears off.
  • Look at the border between the red blade inlay and the grey bevel for chipping.
  • Check whether the knife is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag you are comfortable with.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget-minded players who want this knife and accept visible wear.
  • Those who like a used, workshop look on a simple two-tone finish.
  • A cheaper entry that keeps the recognisable colours.
