Skin overview

This copy of ★ Shadow Daggers | Doppler (Phase 4) carries the same blue marbled look, with only faint marks that show under close inspection. Since the Doppler coat is glossy and the range of this skin is narrow, Minimal Wear reads almost the same as a clean copy in game. It is a way to get the blue phase while giving up only a fine layer of polish.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

Both blades are covered in a saturated blue with darker navy and black marbled clouds spread across the flats, lighter toward the edges. The finger-hole grips and guards are a polished, almost chrome-like blue that catches highlights along every curve.

Fine scratches can appear at the blade tips and along the cutting edges, where the coat thins first. The outer rims of the grips may lose a little shine at their sharpest corners. The marble pattern and the blue on the flats remain clean. At normal viewing distance in game the difference from Factory New is hard to notice.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Shadow Daggers | Doppler Phase 4 is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the blade flats on inspect, since the share of dark swirl versus clean blue differs from copy to copy.
  • Check the float position within the grade, as it decides whether the tips show any marks.
  • Zoom in on the tips and cutting edges, the first places where the coat thins.
  • Note whether it is a StatTrak™ copy and whether a name tag has been applied.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the blue Doppler look in game and do not mind faint marks at the tips.
  • Buyers looking for an entry into this phase who accept a slightly thinner coat.
  • A practical option that looks nearly identical in play.
